XF-Addon [AIXF] New Article Notifications in Chat 2.0.0

This has been tested on 2.3.7. But should work on older versions.

This add-on integrates XenAddons AMS (Article Management System) with Siropu Chat to automatically post notifications in a chat room whenever new AMS articles are published.
It’s ideal for communities that want chat users to stay updated in real-time about new articles.

• Sends messages to a specified Siropu Chat room when:
  • A new AMS article is published
• Customizable bot display name for chat messages
• Template tokens for flexible message formatting ({username}, {title}, {url})
• Compatible with XenForo 2.3+

• XenForo 2.3.0+
• Siropu Chat (latest version)
• XenAddons AMS (latest version)

1. Unzip the release package.
2. Upload the upload/ directory to your XenForo root.
3. In the Admin Control Panel, go to Add-ons → Install and install [AP] New Article Notifications in Chat.

1. Upload the upload/ directory over your existing files.
2. In the Admin Control Panel, go to Add-ons → Upgrade and upgrade [AP] New Article Notifications in Chat.

1. In the Admin Control Panel, go to Add-ons → Uninstall.
2. Remove any leftover files from src/addons/apathy/ArticleNotifier/ (optional).

• ACP → Setup → Options → [AP] Article Notifier
• Set:
  • Chat Room ID where notifications will be posted
  • Bot Name to display in chat
  • Customize the message template for articles
